Question and Answer

Where do I find my stop id short code?

Currently the stop id text message code can be obtained using STOPwatch.WEB. You can search for your stop by entering the intersection or a related street. The text message code is conveniently located next to each stop name.

You can also find stop id's for major time points in our Routes & Schedules book.

Will this work with my cell phone?

If your cell phone is capable of sending and receiving text messages, you can use the STOPwatch.SMS service. Please check your carrier below for availability.

Does this service cost anything?

This depends on your cell phone plan. Standard text messaging rates will apply. However, since this is not a Premium SMS service, no additional fees will be incurred.

Please contact your cell phone provder to verify your account packages.

Is this a subscription?

No. Each message you send will be responded to only once with bus stop details. If you want to continue to get information about a stop, you will need to resend the text message.
